BDC Manager

United Nissan store is seeking focused, computer-savvy, with strong leadership skills BDC Manager to work in our BDC Department.
The BDC manager is responsible for the generation and management of online and phone traffic to the dealership, reputation management and the handling and conversion of that traffic thereafter.
Responsibilities:
Include the following; however other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
- Manage a team of 3-6 BDC representatives in a call center environment
- Oversee training and staffing of the BDC department
- Create, manage and oversee BDC representatives’ processes and tasks
- Seamlessly transfer appointments to sales department
- Maintain a fun, friendly working environment with positive employee relations
- Work closely with department managers to reach individual department goals
- Monitor and maximize inbound phone, web and showroom traffic streams
- Develop strategies to maximize lead volume, lead quality and conversion
- Maintain and monitor dealer website traffic and performance
- Work with management to assist with selection and maintenance of online vendors
- Responsible for ensuring the dealership is compliant with all local and federal regulations pertaining to the call center such as National Do Not Call List, Privacy Act, TCPA, etc.
- Monitor and create strategies for customer retention
- Oversee the follow-up of shoppers using telephone, mailings, or electronic media
- Attract new clientele to dealership via creative ideas, marketing, events, etc.
- Work closely with vendors to improved 3rd party product performance
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ Years in retail automotive industry
- 2+ Years in management of business development center
- Strong communication, the organization, time management, computer, and basic math skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively as a leader and as part of a team.
- Demonstrate a professional, enthusiastic and friendly attitude
- Strong understanding of automotive lead generation, call center metrics and automotive websites and software
- Possess an acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license
